Day 4

Solution for today: soy milk. Not as good as cream, but a hell of a lot better than that swill with the whatever floating on top.

And I am seeing a tiny bit of difference.

On the professional front, I'm getting things done, but s . . . l . . . o . . . w . . . l . . . y. I feel like the slowest composer in the world.

Most important thing - your composing. Slow but sure, and have at it! I atill think it will be so cool to know a composer for films. So very cool. Will you admit you know us when you make it in CA?? Hope so!

Hi Stacy

Sorry to barge in on your blog post! LOL! I'm at home bonding with Charlie and catching up on my reading!

I found this article in Saturday's Guardian paper

http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/2010/mar/20/susan-tomes-playing-piano-concerts

The technical side of the music she describes goes way over me but her anecdotes about playing the piano for oneself, for others and developing an understanding of the music she plays were just so lovely that I thought I'd pass this to you!

Hope you don't mind!

Take care

Hey, I read this! I identified with a lot of what she said. I'm always a little surprised at what moves people. You never know.
