Reading you a story . . .

If anyone has trouble understanding my dehydrated voice and mumbling mouth, please let me know. I'd be happy to send along some text to go with the reading.

Yes, Mom, I'm drinking lots of water to combat the drunken debaucheries of last night.

That was great! I didn't hear any mumbling. Good book too.

Yeah what mumbling? :) That was great. You captured the mood very well.

Hey there, I HAD to come and peak just a bit - have to listen to the rest later on, at home.

You have a great voice and I can't wait to listen to the rest of this beginning! I only git as far as the bordering - and then someone walked into my cubicle-pretend office and I had to mute.

But I'll be back!

And yeah, OK, Mom here, and I was gonna ask ya about the hydration. Also, remember the baby aspirin part and the carbs, kid.

Thanks, blogless! I feel a bit better about my reading then.

Well, Natalie, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping by!

See, Robin? I knew you were going to ask. I knew it.

I did the carbs, but the baby aspirin was unnecessary, as I wasn't hung over.

Drunk or sober, this is great — and I know because I've tried it both ways.

It's always lovely to hear from you. I like Neil Gaiman but I preferred Neverwhere to American Gods.

You seemed to relax more as the reading went on. I liked the smile in your voice at the end.

Wow- I just sat in the quiet and listened. This was wonderful, and thanks for the intrduction to Neil Gaiman - I've never read his books.
His writing is simple and elegant and sneaks up on you - the way I like it.

Thanks for the intro.

No mumbling voice there, by the way. You read it well, and Neil woud surely be happy to hear it!
