I gave up on Lost after a while. It seemed rather slow and I didn't like the main doctor character.

I enjoyed the latest Torchwood (Children of Earth) except for the ending. The last episode was rather grim for my tastes. I did like the cast, though.

I stopped watching neverending paranormal weird TV shows with Twin Peaks.

If you're going to watch Who, start with the Ecclestone series and work your way through.

And — Spacey Stacy? Seriously?

I managed to get through the fourth season, but I haven't watched the fifth season yet, Fairy. I have a love/hate relationship with the doctor, but I love Sawyer and Kate and Jon and so many of the other characters. Hated Ben, but then I was supposed to hate Ben. : )

I've heard Torchwood has some good political commentary, even though the series started out pretty shakily, writing wise. The ads look great, so I want to give the show a go.

Hah, Whirl! I'd wondered what to start with regarding Dr. Who; it's been going on so long I was sure I'd be lost from the get-go. Now I won't!

And yes, my friends used to call me Spacey Stacy. I was really a dreamer as a kid, and that's where the name came from. First time I met a good friend's dad (we've been friends since the 1st grade), he called me Spacey Stacy. But he was being affectionate, in his way. : )

I like your list!

I'll be in Indianapolis on the evening of September 1st for a Sept 2 conference. Any chance of coming down?

Hi Robin. I don't think I can make it. I won't have my school money until mid-September. Damn damn damn!

I'll be back out there sometime. Plus, I really wanna come to Chicago to visit - and I'll see what I can wrangle. I'm a pretty good wrangler, in general.

Meanwhile, no worries!
