Some of my coolest stuff came from dreams. (As well as some of my most inane stuff.)
Good job in writing it down right off. If you wait the story fades, like the dream. Sometimes it's like writtenwyrdd says: it doesn't make sense in the light of day.

Cool. I've done that a few times, and more than a few times actually thought, during the dream, I should write this down...
Unfortunately, a lot of the time it doesn't make sense as much as I thought it did during the dream.

Just hope this isn't a dream too, or you'll end up writing it out twice.

I usually don't, either. Most nights I don't remember dreaming at all.
