Feeling a bit melancholy. I've only read one of her books, Howl's Moving Castle, but I fell in love with it immediately. What books of hers are your favorites?
Deep Secret is my absolute favourite but I also liked the sequel (which was a children's book, unlike the first one.) A large part of Deep Secret is set in a sci fi convention. Great fun!
I rather liked her other adult book, too, A Sudden Wild Magic, although not so much.
I've read Howl's Magic Castle but it hasn't stuck in my mind the same way.

Oh I am so very sorry to hear that. Deep Secret is one of my very favourite books. I kept hoping she'd write more adult fantasy books.
