Book Purchasing Poll

Over the last six months, there are books I've been tempted to purchase, but have held off until better days.

Well, my friends, better days have come, if only temporarily. To the right is a poll in which YOU get to pick Freddie's next book(s).

Any other suggestions are welcome in the comments.

I liked "A Wrinkle in Time" when I was younger and it's worth a read. I can't remember "Little Big" very well as it's a long time since I read it.

I don't know the others. Neil Gaiman is often good and I enjoyed "Neverwhere". Really, it depends a lot on what you like reading and what you've already read.

If you haven't read any Terry Pratchett, you would probably enjoy him for being hysterically funny. Hat Full of Sky is the start of a secondary series for YA.

If you want a recent series that's dark urban fantasy, Ilona Andrews has two books out which are both great. Also Michelle Sagara's Elantra series is wonderful. Tinker by Wen Spencer.

I've read Wrinkle in Time, but I never got around to reading the other books in the series. I figure it wouldn't be a bad thing to get so my niece could read them, but she never reads anything I give her. I still try, though. But I'm a huge fan of Gaiman. On the other hand, I've been wanting the other books a long time. I'm dying to find out whether Marathon Man is as scary as the movie was. But the opening paragraph to Friends of Pancho Villa is stellar, and I want to read the rest of the book to find out if it's as good. Decisions, decisions.

I have Terry Pratchett's Masquarade (I think it's called?) Haven't read it yet. I hear he's great.

I didn't read Wrinkle in Time, but both of my daughters loved it and read the series of books - wasn't this the first of a series?

I picked Marathon Man - haven't read it myself - but I remember hearing lots of good things. If you read it, let me know what you think!
